Rob Van Dam, a recognized WWE Hall of Famer himself, and Paul Heyman, the man instrumental in his rise, both hold esteemed positions in the wrestling world. Fans have been speculating whether RVD will have the honor of inducting Heyman into the Hall of Fame and RVD has now addressed this possibility.
As previously mentioned, Paul Heyman is slated to be honored with induction into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. This development comes as no surprise to those familiar with his career, considering his significant contributions to WWE programming for several years.
In the upcoming episode of 1 Of A Kind With RVD, Van Dam mentioned that he initially didn’t have plans to attend the WWE Hall of Fame this year. However, with Heyman’s announcement, RVD expressed that he will now have to make arrangements to be there.
As the speculation surrounding WrestleMania usually includes guessing who will induct the honorees, many names are considered worthy of inducting Heyman, with RVD being one of them. Despite the speculation, Rob shared his own thoughts on the matter.
“I think they can definitely find somebody better than me. You know, it’d be an honor. And of course, if I was, nominated and asked to do it, I would give it my best.”
RVD also confirmed he will appear on WWE programming again this year, so fans are certainly wondering if he will induct Paul Heyman into the WWE Hall of Fame in April, as it would be very apt.
