The Undertaker’s dedication to putting his body on the line for fans’ enjoyment has earned him legendary status, though it comes with its drawbacks. He is larger than life, and now it appears he has reacted to Michael “Venom” Page paying homage to him at UFC 299.
At UFC 299, Michael “Venom” Page honored The Undertaker with a tribute entrance. He walked out to The Undertaker’s iconic theme, wearing a robe with a hoodie that he discarded at the beginning of his entrance.
Despite the music transitioning, The Undertaker’s distinctive gong continued, and MVP added his unique touch by dancing his way to the Octagon. Making his UFC debut against Kevin Holland, MVP had an impressive showing and emerged victorious in the bout.
The Deadman took to Twitter and reacted to Michael Page’s tribute to him, as The Undertaker stated that the entrance was nice, and he congratulated Page on his big win over Kevin Holland.
”Nice entrance & congrats on the W, @MichaelPage247 . @UFC”
MVP followed in the footsteps of other UFC fighters who have paid tribute to The Undertaker during their walkouts. Israel Adesanya, for instance, used The Undertaker’s theme and even incorporated an urn into his walkout at UFC 276, adding a unique touch to his entrance in homage to the legendary WWE figure.
