The WWE Hall of Fame is always a worthwhile event every single year, as fans wonder who will get inducted into the prestigious class. Two big names have already been announced for the event, and WWE has now officially confirmed that The U.S. Express will be inducted into this year’s Hall of Fame as well.

As previously reported, Paul Heyman is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. This was immediately followed by Bull Nakano getting her long-awaited induction as well.

WWE took to Twitter and announced that The U.S. Express, comprised of Barry Windham and Mike Rotunda, will be inducted into this year’s edition of the WWE Hall of Fame.

Mike Rotunda and Barry Windham, with deep family ties in the sports-entertainment industry, changed tag team wrestling at the first WrestleMania as The U.S. Express. Accompanied by Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in The U.S.A.,” they were a dynamic duo in the ’80s, winning two World Tag Team Championships.

Their legacy included facing iconic duos and continuing into the newer generation with Rotunda’s sons, Windham (Bray Wyatt) and Taylor (Bo Dallas), both WWE competitors in their own right.

We’ll need to wait and see which other legends WWE opts to induct into the Hall of Fame this year, given that the current list is already quite impressive.
