Singles Match and Return Confirmed for 3/15 WWE SmackDown

The road to WrestleMania 40 has been producing some of the most exciting WWE-televised programming with some huge announcements made for next week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

The rivalry between Bayley and her former faction, Damage CTRL comes head-to-head when The Role Model gets her hands on the woman she thought sided with her in this civil war, Dakota Kai.

For weeks, Dakota Kai slithered Bayley into believing that she pledged her allegiance to her and not IYO Sky and her clan. This led to the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble winner accepting her alliance and both were slated to face other faction members, Asuka and Kairi Sane on SmackDown last week.

However, it was during that match that Bayley was betrayed by Kai and ruthlessly assaulted by the entire Damage CTRL. The Role Model acknowledged the events on tonight’s edition of SmackDown and believed that she had to fight this battle all alone, a part which starts next week when she and Dakota Kai square off in the ring.

Elsewhere, after witnessing Dragon Lee beaten down by his rivals, Legado Del Fantasma, the masked luchador legend Rey Mysterio is set to make his comeback on SmackDown next week.
