AEW Revolution was truly a night of memorable moments and solid matches, as it saw the end of Sting’s career in the best way possible. In fact, this has now been reflected in the initial pay-per-view estimates for the show.

The AEW Revolution event was held on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC, headlined by Sting’s retirement match. Sting and Darby Allin defeated The Young Bucks and Sting retired undefeated.

As previously reported, the AEW Revolution pay-per-view drew an impressive attendance of 16,118 fans and generated a gate of over $1 million, with an average ticket price of $55.

According to The Wrestling Observer, the preliminary buy estimate for Revolution falls between 171,000 and 175,000. It’s important to note that this figure is not final, as AEW typically experiences a late surge in buys that hasn’t been factored in yet. The two highest-selling AEW PPVs are the 2021 All Out and the 2023 All In event at Wembley Stadium.
