Potential Date for Will Ospreay vs. Bryan Danielson Match Revealed

Will Ospreay made headlines after signing with AEW last year at Full Gear, and he is now a full-time member of the AEW roster. He had an earth-shattering confrontation with Bryan Danielson this week on Dynamite and the possible date for their eventual bout has been revealed.

As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Will Ospreay squared off against Kyle Fletcher in singles competition and unsurprisingly, it was a solid bout from start to finish. Ospreay would pick up the win but AEW kept the best for last.

This is because Bryan Danielson came out at the very end of the show as the two had an intense confrontation to close the show. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about Will Ospreay vs Bryan Danielson.

Dave Meltzer noted that the aforementioned dream match will be taking place sooner than later, as he stated that the bout will likely take place on AEW Dynasty on April 21st at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis Missouri.

”That match is happening relatively soon. Tony Khan has been wanting. That’s like the dream matches of dream matches probably for him, but this match is happening, and I presume it will be on the PPV on April 21st.”

We will have to wait and see who AEW will continue to book Will Ospreay and Bryan Danielson’s feud in the coming weeks, as it is certain their bout at AEW Dynasty will be a match of the year contender.
