WWE Star Debuts New Name at 3/1 NXT Live Event

During a live WWE NXT event in Florida, a significant name change was unveiled as a former independent wrestling talent underwent a rebranding process.

According to our correspondent in attendance, Lucky Ali has officially adopted a new persona within WWE, now going by the name Saquon Shugars. The change was revealed during the NXT live event in Dade City on March 1, 2024.

Shugars, alongside Joshua Black, formed a tag team to face off against Edris Enofe and Malik Blade; however, their efforts were not enough to secure victory, as Enofe and Blade emerged triumphant.

Additionally, the event featured two championship matches, with Lyra Valkyria successfully defeating Lola Vice, and NXT North American Champion Oba Femi retaining their title against Josh Briggs.
