Recent discussions have centered around allegations of misconduct involving Chris Jericho and his interactions with Kylie Rae. In light of these allegations once again, Tony Khan has asserted AEW’s capability in handling misconduct allegations.

Following Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE, there is increased scrutiny on how allegations of misconduct are addressed in the wrestling industry. Grant alleges sexual abuse and trafficking by the 78-year-old billionaire. Despite McMahon denying all allegations, he resigned from WWE in January of this year.

During a media call before this weekend’s Revolution pay-per-view, Tony Khan discussed how AEW addresses allegations of misconduct.

The AEW President mentioned having trained professionals on the disciplinary committee, including two attorneys and Bryan Danielson, with diverse backgrounds and experiences in wrestling. Their role is to scrutinize all misconduct claims and prioritize the well-being of the wrestlers above everything else.

“We have trained professionals on the disciplinary committee, including two attorneys and Bryan Danielson. And they’re different backgrounds, and that’s the idea to have people from different backgrounds. And different experiences in wrestling, which is certainly its own unique business with its own unique set of challenges.

“And they would be looking out against all misconduct claims, and we’ve tried to train them up to do their best. I think, to really whatever the situation is, in terms of misconduct, to do whatever it takes to ensure the well-being of the wrestlers, which is first and foremost here above everything else.”

Tony Khan was also previously urged to create a union following Vince McMahon’s allegations. Nevertheless, we certainly hope no stories of misconduct surface in AEW ever again.
