The Rock Releases Unheard Details Leading Up To Feud With Cody Rhodes

The Rock has brought out the most vicious side of his personality for the road to WrestleMania 40 that had been buried deep inside him and was resurrected courtesy of The American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes.

In recent video on his Instagram, The Great One revealed intriguing details that had never been heard before and which led to Cody Rhodes becoming his sworn enemy with the Show of Shows on the horizon.

The Rock began about the conversation he had with Cody right after he won the 2024 Royal Rumble match. He mentioned that they had the chance to create big business for WWE with The Rock entering the picture and Rhodes having plenty of opportunities to finish his story another time.

Moreover, the 10-time WWE champion revealed that Rhodes agreed to go ahead with the plan and introduce The Rock as Roman Reigns’ opponent for WrestleMania 40 on SmackDown while the People’s Champion had deep respect for what he did.

However, The Rock then acknowledged Cody Rhodes changing his mind and reinserting himself back into the World title picture at WrestleMania. Furthermore, while Rock stated that he was allowed to do so, the only thing The Rock had a problem with Rhodes’ launched insults towards his family lineage at the press event in Las Vegas.

The Great One concluded the video by stating no one disrespected the rich history of the Anoa’i family and if Cody Rhodes did attempt it again, he would have no problem slapping him across the face one more time.
