WWE Universe in the Capitol Wrestling Centre will witness one of the most gruesome and physical bouts in the history of the company that was announced on tonight’s edition of NXT.

The bitter rivals, Dijak and Joe Gacy would finally have a chance to settle their differences when they are locked up inside a deadly cage structure and square off in the infamous Asylum match.

Ahead of his monumental showdown, Dijak took to his X to announce that he would need to study tapes of the man who invented the hellacious showdown and competed in its first-ever edition, Jon Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose.

“Brb gonna go study my Dean Ambrose tapes.”

The match came into existence during the height of a heated rivalry between former WWE superstars, Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho.

The two men competed in the first Asylum match at the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view in 2016. The dark-colored cage was surrounded by foreign objects used to cause immense pain to the opponent in an attempt to score the win.

With the animosity between Dijak and Joe Gacy at its peak after weeks of encounters and captivity situations, fans would be surely looking forward to this showdown going down next week on NXT Roadblock.

Do you think Dijak studying Dean Ambrose’s tapes would be useful for his upcoming Asylum match against Joe Gacy next week? Sound off in the comments!
