Since his debut back in 2000, Randy Orton has been one of the most entertaining and talented stars on the WWE roster. Fast forward more than two decades, nothing has changed. Orton is considered to be one among the elite group of men who have helped WWE get to the position they are now.
While the Viper has helped build the business since his debut, his phenomenal character work and in-ring abilities have helped him win a plethora of titles and big matches in his career spanning over 20 years.
Though WWE has given the Viper a lot of opportunities in the past, the latter now wants to return the favour to the company. In a recent episode of A&E Biographies, Orton revealed that though he was 43-year-old, he didn’t want to leave the squared circle any time soon. Rather, he wanted to return everything that the business had given him over the years.
“I’d say paying it forward, giving back to the business [is the most important thing to me at this stage of my career.] Just helping out the guys who need the help. When I was coming up, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Triple H, all these guys. They made sure to instill in me as many good habits as they could. Here I am, 20 years later and a lot of things come full circle.”
Randy Orton lost his opportunity to get a match against Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. However, at the Elimination Chamber PLE, Logan Paul attacked him hinting at a potential feud for the Grandest Stage of them All. Time will tell how things play out for the Viper ahead of WrestleMania 40.
