Drew McIntyre has been nothing short of a menace, who has not left even a single opportunity to make a mockery out of his arch-rival currently out of action, CM Punk.
However, during this week’s edition on Monday Night RAW, McIntyre continued the CM Punk injury charade, but this time, he also borrowed something iconic out of the Best in the World’s playbook.
McIntyre came to RAW, fresh off a huge victory at last weekend’s WWE Elimination Chamber PLE. He emerged victorious in the Men’s chamber match outlasting five of the top WWE superstars and will now challenge Seth “Freakin'” Rollins for the World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania 40.
Drew McIntyre seemed happy on RAW about his monumental win but even disclosed suffering some injuries at the event, with some doctors even telling him that he might not make it to WrestleMania.
However, the Scottish Warrior immediately brushed him off mocking CM Punk’s triceps injury. Adding insult to it, he then sat in the middle of the ring much like Punk is known to do during his promo segments with the crowd erupting.
CM Punk suffered a triceps injury at the hands of Drew McIntyre at the 2024 Royal Rumble. So it would be interesting to see when he returns and gets right in the face of the man who took away his dream of headlining WrestleMania this year.
Do you think we will see CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre immediately once the Best in the World returns from injury? Sound off in the comments!
