Bully Ray was recognized as one of the most decorated tag team wrestlers of all time. Alongside his long-time partner, D-Von, the duo popularly known as The Dudley Boyz ruled the tag team divisions of multiple promotions.

They began their run as a team back in the 1990s in ECW and then transitioned to WWE where they gained immense success and popularity, while also clinching an impressive nine WWE tag team titles as a cohesive unit.

However, looking at the current scenario of the WWE tag team division, the WWE Hall of Famer had some words to say. He took to his X to openly express his support for one of the most successful tag teams of the modern era, The New Day.

Bully Ray believed that New Day should be announced as the most decorated tag team in WWE history or the company should at least announce their highly acclaimed 12 WWE tag team championships as a faction, majorly advocating for tag team accolades to be given the spotlight it deserves.

“The New Day should always be announced as “the most decorated” tag team in WWE History. Or at least announce how many tag team championships they have won. Give tag teams the same acknowledgement of their accolades as singles stars. #WWERaw @BustedOpenRadio.”

The New Day currently has Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods as their active members, with Big E dealing with his neck injury that seemingly has put an end to his in-ring career. But despite that, the trio will always be remembered as indeed, one of the most accomplished and beloved teams of all time.

Do you agree with Bully Ray’s statement regarding the tag team division? Would WWE take it into consideration? Sound off in the comments!
