The conclusion of tonight’s edition of AEW Collision saw a disrespectful act and an all-out brawl breaking out following one of the most technically sound wrestling matches in the history of the company.

The bout pitted The American Dragon Bryan Danielson against the Japanese star Jun Akiyama in the main event of AEW Collision. Not only that, Bryan’s opponent for AEW Revolution, Eddie Kingston sat on commentary to watch the action closely.

The match exceeded all expectations in terms of being a fast-paced and exhilarating classic wrestling bout that amazed the audience in attendance for Collision.

However, the final moments saw Danielson striking Akiyama with a devastating running knee and pinning his shoulders on the mat for the win. But Bryan showed the ultimate disrespect by kicking Jun Akiyama in the gut as he tried to show appreciation in a Japanese traditional way for his fellow competitor.

The moment saw Eddie Kingston and FTR running to the aid of Akiyaman, while Bryan was aided by his ally, Claudio Castognoli. Furthermore, the show ended with a major announcement for a huge trios match for next week’s AEW Dynamite, pitting the Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castognoli, Bryan Danielson, and Jon Moxley) against FTR and Eddie Kingston.
