Mr. T’s WrestleMania II Items Drawing High Bids at Auction

WrestleMania is the mecca of professional wrestling in the sports entertainment world that tends to showcase the biggest names from WWE and even celebrities from various other fields.

The first two WrestleManias saw the appearance of the popular star of the time, Mr.T who became a big part of the global juggernaut during that era and brought immense star power to Vince McMahon’s vision.

Moreover, he wrestled in a huge singles bout at WrestleMania II against WWE Hall of Famer Rowdy Roddy Piper. The interesting part of this is that the red and black wrestling trunks with a yellow WWF logo that Mr.T wore for the match have attracted significant interest at a recent auction.

The historic wrestling memorabilia had been put up for bid at the Heritage Auctions and has already received some top-dollar bids. Moreover, the highest number for the trunks currently stands at $4,100.

Mr.T’s wrestling trunks surely have a lot of value attached not only in terms of history but also having victory attached to them as he had won by disqualification against Roddy Piper in the massive WrestleMania II bout.
