With Becky Lynch set to enter the Women’s Elimination Chamber match as the favorite to face the Women’s World Champion at WrestleMania, the dream match between Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch might become a reality. However, that only depends on the Australian star’s Women’s World Championship defense against Nia Jax at the Elimination Chamber PLE.
While Ripley vs Lynch might come to reality, one dream match that will seemingly never be witnessed in the WWE ring will be Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey. Since their triple threat match in 2019, Rousey and Lynch have been eying for an opportunity to battle in a singles contest.
However, being a WrestleMania caliber match, the feud has always been saved for the Grandest Stage of them All. While the wait for fans was never over, Ronda Rousey left WWE, making things impossible.
However, in a recent interview on the Daily Mail, Lynch addressed her match against Ronda Rousey that never happened. The Man revealed that she was open to match against the Baddest Woman on the Planet if the latter decided to return to WWE.
“Do I think that was the match that everyone was clamouring for? Yes it was. Everyone wanted that singles match. And I think, people thought that moment in time would be evergreen and it wasn’t. That’s OK. If she ever comes back again, maybe that season will be right there. Maybe it will be spring time on that story again, but it never got back to that.”
While Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey remains to be a dream match, the possibility of Lynch vs Ripley for the Women’s World Championship match at WrestleMania is still open. Stay connected to Ringside News to get latest updates on the Elimination Chamber PLE.
