Seth Rollins Drops Unexpected Choice for WrestleMania 40 Opponent

At WWE Elimination Chamber, a fierce lineup including Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, LA Knight, Logan Paul, and Kevin Owens is set to vie within the confines of the elimination chamber. The victor of this battle will earn the coveted opportunity to challenge Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 40.

During an appearance on Nathan, Nat, and Shaun, Rollins was queried about his preference regarding his potential opponent.

“I want to face Randy. I owe him one. We had a WrestleMania match many moons ago. WrestleMania 31. Nine years later, we’re both in different places in our careers. Seth Rollins vs. Randy Orton on the marquee sounds beautiful,” expressed Seth.

Indeed, Orton emerged victorious against Rollins at WrestleMania 31. However, Rollins seized the spotlight later that evening by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract during the clash between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar, ultimately clinching the WWE Championship.
