With a new year started, numerous contracts in the wrestling industry have expired. While many have been re-signed, a plethora of stars have decided to make a shift and try themselves with another wrestling promotion.
However, the TNA World Heavyweight Champion has chosen to stay with the promotion for a long time. In August 2023, it was reported that Moose’s contract with TNA was set to expire soon. However, it was later rumored that the star had re-signed with the company to continue his amazing run.
While the length of the contract was not stated anywhere, it was said that his contract was the longest contract in the history of TNA and IMPACT Wrestling. However, the 39-year-old has now revealed the length of his history-making contract with TNA.
During an appearance on ‘In The Weeds’, Moose revealed that re-signed with TNA on a five-year deal and was expected to live out all five years of it. He also stated that his goal was to make TNA bigger and better when compared to the other promotions in the industry.
“I have a five-year contract with TNA and I’m expected to perform and live out all five years of that deal, and continue my goal to build TNA to bigger and better things.”
Moose is set to defend his TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Alex Shelley at TNA No Surrender. With a ‘No Surrender’ stipulation added to the match, Moose is expected to unleash a new level of dominance at the event.
