Brock Lesnar has been missing from WWE television since the SummerSlam Premium Live Event, where he squared off against Cody Rhodes. His return is uncertain at the moment, possibly linked to his connection with Vince McMahon’s trafficking lawsuit.
Initially, there were plans for Brock Lesnar’s participation in the Royal Rumble. However, due to alleged his involvement in the legal issues surrounding Vince McMahon’s trafficking lawsuit, those plans were altered.
As previously mentioned, The Beast Incarnate has been recently excluded from WWE game. Moreover, he has also been removed from WWE Creative plans for the foreseeable future.
Furthermore, Lesnar has been edited out of the introductory video package for WWE’s weekly television shows. Lesnar was also missing from WWE 2K24’s roster announcement alongside Vince McMahon.
Fans wondered if Brock Lesnar was still going to be in the case regardless. According to Insider Gaming, it was reported that Brock Lesnar is featured in WWE 2K24, but players won’t be able to control him.
Multiple sources informed Insider Gaming that although it was too late to entirely remove Lesnar from the game, the decision was made to render him unplayable for users upon release. Despite his unplayable status, Lesnar’s character and game files remain within WWE 2K24. This implies that individuals with the capability to do so may find ways to make him playable, although it will require some effort to achieve.
”Multiple sources have told Insider Gaming that while it was too late to fully remove Lesnar from the game, the plan shifted to simply make him unplayable for players upon release.”
”Despite being unplayable, his character and game files are still within WWE 2K24. That means that there will be ways for those with the ability to get him to become playable, it’ll just take some work to make it happen.”
The reason for not removing Brock Lesnar entirely from the game revolves around a couple of factors. Firstly, the late stage of development for WWE 2K24 when the latest allegations against Vince McMahon emerged, which indirectly implicated Lesnar, even though not mentioned by name. Additionally, there might be minor inclusions of Lesnar within different game modes, contributing to the decision to keep his character and files in the game.
The future of The Beast Incarnate’s return remains uncertain, as the current outlook appears unfavorable. We will have to wait and see whether Lesnar will be removed from WWE history entirely.
