Booker T recently announced that he would not be present to call the action at NXT Vengeance Day, adding that he would be undergoing medical procedure and would be absent for some time. Byron Saxton would replace him as part of the commentary team and it appears Saxton’s time in the booth has seemingly come to an end.

Booker T has promised he would make a swift return as part of the NXT commentary team and there is no doubt he has been making good on his promise so far as well.

This week’s episode of NXT was taped in advance and featured a lot of action. Following the conclusion of the show, Byron Saxton took to his Instagram and uploaded a photo of himself alongside Vic Joseph, as he seemingly made it clear his run as a temporary NXT commentator has come to an end.
