TKO Holdings Group made significant impact in professional wrestling by appointing Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to their Board of Directors. Brian Gewirtz ended up returning to WWE after this move. Due to this matter, Eric Bischoff has stated that he believes Brian Gewirtz replacing Triple H wouldn’t be a bad thing.
As previously reported, Brian Gewirtz, former Senior Vice President of Development at Dwayne Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions, will continue his involvement whenever The Rock engages with WWE. Leveraging his experience as a former head of WWE Creative, Gewirtz will assist in The Rock’s creative process.
While speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff made it clear that he believes Brian Gewirtz replacing Triple H as the Head of Creative wouldn’t be a bad thing.
“Hey, who’s currently running creative? That’s Hunter, but if it’s Brian, I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I’m not anti-Hunter. I think what he’s done is fantastic. I don’t want to see Hunter squeezed out. I want to be clear about that. But Brian, man, my goodness, the idea that he’s back is nothing other than a positive,”
While it is highly unlikely Triple H will be replaced by Brian Gewirtz, anything is possible in the world of professional wrestling. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen what WWE has planned for The Rock as we slowly approach WrestleMania 40.
