Vince McMahon is embroiled in a highly controversial situation due to sexual trafficking lawsuit filed against him by former WWE employee Janel Grant. The legal battle has brought forth additional names and raised concerns within the wrestling community. Even former WWE Superstar Ashley Massaro has become a topic of discussion in light of McMahon’s scandal and this has led to Massaro’s daughter calling out a former friend of Massaro for discussing McMahon’s allegations.
Following Ashley Massaro’s death in 2019, an affidavit, penned by Massaro, revealed her Middle East trip for a WWE mission to support troops. She disclosed being drugged and sexually assaulted by a US Military member during the trip. Massaro later asserted that Vince McMahon instructed her to remain silent about the incident to protect WWE’s relationship with the military.
In 2019, as the story gained attention following Ashley Massaro’s tragic passing, WWE issued a response. While expressing sadness about her death, the company clarified that Vince McMahon and WWE management were never informed of the alleged incident described in Massaro’s affidavit.
Recently, Cara Pipia, who claimed to be a close friend of Massaro, alleged that Ashley Massaro was intimidated by WWE Executives about the Kuwait incident. In light of this, Massaro’s daughter Alexa took to Twitter and commented on a video featuring Pipia, revealing that Pipia lied about being Massaro’s close friend.
”Cara Pipia wasnt even a friend of my mothers when she passed. she was an ex bestfriend who, since her passing, has just spam messaged me unsettling/ delirious messages and has fabricated bizarre messages etc etc”
Alexa Massaro said that Cara Pipia has been harassing her and her family for a long time and tried to become the voice of Ashley Massaro’s case.
”finally gained the courage to search my moms name and i see her ex bestfriend, the woman who has harassed me and my grandma since her passing/ has messaged family members AWFULLY mean things pretending to be me ect as the voice chosen to represent this . god help me”
Alexa Massaro further added that no one who supported her family, which was just her and her grandmother Barbara, would go talk about the incident on live media, making it clear it was against their wishes.
”no one who supports the Massaro family (literally all thats remaining is me and my grandma barbara who i live with ANYWAYS) would go to the media or news outlets . they know its against our wishes , her mothers wishes.”
It is certainly unfortunate Pipia would decide to use Ashley Massaro’s death in such a way. Nonetheless, John Laurinaitis also denied covering up Ashley Massaro’s sexual assault allegations, evidently revealing that WWE higher-ups were aware of the incident. We will have to wait and see whether justice will prevail in this case.
