Kenny Omega was set to pursue the AEW World Tag Team Championships alongside Chris Jericho but is currently sidelined due to diverticulitis. While he is still absent from AEW television, Omega recently engaged in a non-wresting activity.

As mentioned earlier, Kenny Omega confronted a life-threatening situation with a 50% chance of death due to a severe illness. Subsequently, it was reported that Omega’s crucial surgery for recovery had been postponed, forcing him to take an indefinite hiatus from his professional commitments.

In case you didn’t know, AEW President Tony Khan recently provided an update on Omega, stating that he was doing much better. Khan’s words turned out to be true as Kenny Omega recently took part in a GameSpot video, where he shared his thoughts on ‘Yakuza Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth.’

Kenny Omega looked to be in high spirits as he was obviously out of the hospital and was making steady progress on his path to recovery. Omega largely talked about how much the game was influenced by pro wrestling and his participation in the Like A Dragon Street Fight last year.

It was also reported that his career hangs in the balance as he awaits surgery. Only time will reveal whether Omega will need surgery, but fans are certainly glad to see Omega is doing better than before.
