Daniel Wheeler, known professionally as Cash Wheeler, found himself in legal trouble in 2023, facing one count of aggravated assault with a firearm.

The incident leading to Wheeler’s arrest occurred on July 27, with a warrant for his arrest filed on July 28. He entered a plea of not guilty to the charge through his attorney during his initial court appearance on August 3. As a condition of his release, all of Wheeler’s firearms were surrendered to the local sheriff’s department pending the resolution of the case.

Allegedly, Wheeler brandished a firearm during a road rage incident. His attorney clarified that the altercation was not domestic in nature, and Wheeler was not acquainted with the individuals involved. In Florida, the charge carries the weight of a third-degree felony.

Recent court documents obtained by Ringside News indicate that Wheeler was absent from his arraignment. The trial is scheduled to commence on May 20th, with a pre-trial hearing set for May 7th, during which Wheeler has been instructed to appear.
