WWE Returning to International Market After Half-Decade Break

WWE has fans spread all over the world but some markets get less attention compared to others. However, WWE fans in Austria have a huge reason to celebrate as the wrestling giant is set to make a grand return to the country.

On February 19th, WWE announced that they’ll re-enter the Austria market with their next live event planned in Vienna. The highly anticipated live show is set to take place at the Wiener Stadthalle Halle D in Vienna, Austria, on Thursday, May 2, 2024, marking WWE’s comeback to Vienna since its last appearance in 2019.

Fans in Austria can hardly hold in their excitement as they expect the roster to be filled with top WWE Superstars. Among the stars scheduled to make an appearance are “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, Randy Orton, WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY, Drew McIntyre, LA Knight, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens, and Jey Uso. 

Tickets and VIP packages, including exclusive Meet & Greet opportunities with WWE Superstars, will go on sale starting at 10 AM CET on Thursday, February 22, through Ticketmaster.at. This event in Austria sets the stage for the upcoming WWE Backlash France event, scheduled to take place at the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Decines, France, on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
