With Elimination Chamber 2024 just days away and the WWE programming has become very interesting. The go-home episode of Monday Night Raw has been none less. While millions attended the event in the Honda Center in Anaheim, executives from Netflix were also spotted.
Pat McAfee and Michael Cole also acknowledged their presence on commentary while recalling the new deal between Raw and Netflix. With the new partnership between WWE and Netflix, a plethora of opportunities might open up for the TKO-owned company.
A few weeks ago, WWE announced that Monday Night Raw will move away from USA Network and stream on Netflix from 2025. While this $5 billion deal came in as a shocker, excitement levels doubled up for the new doors opening for WWE.
Speculations of Netflix cancelling their deal with Raw have also surfaced on the internet. These came in after the sexual allegations on Vince McMahon came out. Netflix has also been producing a documentary on McMahon, which now seems to be on the verge of getting cancelled.
However, with Netflix executives attending the red brand’s go-home episode for Elimination Chamber, it is clear that Raw moving to the streaming platform is confirmed. While the length of this partnership is not yet announced, with the success of both Netflix and WWE in the past few years, a long-term deal might be expected.
