Velveteen Dream experienced one of the biggest falls from grace in the history of WWE due to allegations that led to the hashtag #FireVelveteenDream trending whenever he appeared on television. After a long hiatus, Dream returned to ring during an indie show, which led to backlash. In light of the negative reaction, the wrestling promotion has now issued an official statement.

Velveteen Dream began 2024 by dropping an apology video, where he issued an apology following multiple scandals. Dream would then reveal that he was not against returning to the ring again.

As it turns out, Velveteen Dream recently made his in-ring appearance for the first time in years at Dynasty in New York. Dynasty took to Twitter and issued a statement on Dream’s controversial appearance, as they stood by their decision to book him.

”Last night, we did what most others wouldn’t. We took a risk on a person, & gave them an opportunity for a 2nd chance. A 2nd chance to fulfill their DREAM. We stand by that decision.”
