Orange Cassidy Makes Shocking Appearance at Indie Show For Impromptu Title Defence

Orange Cassidy has worked hard to establish himself as one of the most beloved stars in all of AEW. Cassidy is known to pop out anywhere from time to time and that’s what he did at a recent indie show, where he put his International Title on the line.

Freshly Squeezed dropped the International Title to Jon Moxley at AEW All Out but eventually regained it from Rey Fenix last year. He has been consistently defending his title since then.

During RevPro’s High Stakes event, Orange Cassidy made his shocking appearance in the 6-man scramble match to defend his AEW International Championship, thereby making it a 7-man affair.

”Wait a minute! We thought Shigehiro Irie was the 6th man, but we now have a 7-way as @AEW’s @orangecassidy is here – and it’s for his International Championship!”

Naturally, Orange Cassidy was able to retain his AEW International Championship in the hard-fought encounter. We will have to wait and see whether Cassidy will end up appearing at another indie promotion in the future.
