Naomi has returned to WWE after nearly two years of self-discovery and resurgence in the wrestling world, traveling across the world and competing for a different promotion.

The former WWE Women’s Champion made her in-ring comeback this week on SmackDown, debuting a new entrance to begin her second run in the global juggernaut in a completely different style and ready to reclaim her place in the women’s division.

The GLOW went up against the newbie star, Alba Fyre in the Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifying match set to take place at the name-sake event in Perth, Australia in one week.

Alba Fyre replaced SmackDown star Shotzi, who was Naomi’s original opponent after she went down with an injury. Both superstars went back and forth and despite distractions from Alba’s partner at ringside, Isla Dawn, Naomi emerged victorious and is now headed to the chamber match.

In a post-SmackDown exclusive interview posted on WWE’s social media, Naomi spoke about her first singles match back on SmackDown and reflected on the upcoming opportunity in Perth, Australia.

“My gosh, first my return at the Royal Rumble. Then I have my first singles match back on SmackDown tonight for the Elimination Chamber. I win, now I’m going to Australia to compete in Perth. My gosh, and then possibly if I win, well, I take that back. I will win and then be going to WrestleMania. Since I’ve returned, everything that I keep doing just keeps getting bigger. and bigger and better and better. And I’m so excited to take the glow to perth because the glow is global.”

Naomi will compete against five other WWE superstars, with the winner going to face Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 40.
