Not a lot of managers have made a name for themselves in the past, thanks to the exceptional roles the likes of Paul Bearer and Paul Heyman have played. Numerous stars have come and gone in the attempt to become a good manager. However, among numerous others, Mr. Stone is one name who has exceeded everyone’s expectations.

After having a decade-long career as an in-ring star in TNA, Stone signed with WWE in 2019. Since then, the NXT star has been doing a brilliant job sitting ringside. Currently, Stone serves as a good friend and manager of NXT star Von Wagner.

While the likes of Paul Heyman and MVP have raised the bar for new managers, Mr. Stone has already passed it. However, the latter still wants to learn more and keep evolving to take things to the next level. In an interview with Sports Illustrated recently, Stone revealed all about his hard work that has helped him get to this level.

“I’m very proud of my past. This is what I’ve always wanted, this is what I’ve always loved. I’ve learned a lot throughout my career. Longevity in wrestling is hard. You need to stay on top of your game, constantly reinvent yourself, swallow your ego, and you need to be willing to put in the work and hustle. Still, to this day, I’m the biggest hustler there is.

“There is still a lot left I can accomplish. Look at Paul Heyman and MVP. They kept evolving, and they’re still integral parts of what we do. That’s what I want to continue to be.”

Mr. Stone is currently one of the very few face managers in the wrestling industry. Walking out of a rivalry with Bron Breakker lately, Stone has been the perfect person to handle both in-ring and ringside roles with ease.

Do you think Mr. Stone can get his name alongside Paul Heyman and MVP as one of the greatest managers of all time? Drop your thoughts in the comment section below.
