Fans of wrestling legend Steve “Mongo” McMichael have been eagerly awaiting updates on his health as he battles ALS, and now it has been revealed that he has contracted MRSA while hospitalized.

Recently, McMichael was hospitalized due to suspected pneumonia, which later led to his admission to the ICU after developing Urinary Tract Infection. Naturally, fans were very worried for him.

Jarrett Payton, son of NFL icon Walter Payton and a former NFL star himself, would then give a positive update on McMichael’s condition. However, Payton took to Twitter and revealed that Steve McMichael is getting a blood transfusion and has MRSA.
