On tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, the recently reunited tag team of Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne unveiled their brand new team name in an exciting backstage segment. As they prepared to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship, Bate and Dunne decided it was time for a fresh start with a new identity.

During the interview, Tyler Bate expressed the duo’s desire for a fresh beginning and proposed the name ‘New Catch Republic’ as their new moniker. Pete Dunne appeared to approve of the choice, signaling their agreement on the new team name.

However, their moment was briefly interrupted by Dominik Mysterio, who happened to pass by during the interview. In a humorous exchange, Dunne dismissively addressed Mysterio with the phrase, ‘Do one, Muppet,’ as the Judgment Day member walked away.

With their new name established, the New Catch Republic is set to face Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest for the Tag Team Championship at Elimination Chamber in Perth, Western Australia on February 24th.
