Chris Jericho Set to Take Sabbatical from AEW Television

Chris Jericho has been part of the AEW family for over five years now and has consistently worked as a top performer and rarely took breaks. However, Jericho is set to take a sabbatical soon.

Le Champion is always ready to compete in the ring and further drive storylines when required, but he has other obligations he needs to attend to sometimes. This includes his band Fozzy, especially when the band goes on tours.

According to Sean Ross Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, it was reported that Chris Jericho will be taking a break from AEW television for a couple of weeks, as he will be on an overseas tour with Fozzy.

”We’re told Chris Jericho is slated to be off television for at least a couple of weeks. He’s headed overseas to tour with Fozzy.”

Chris Jericho had a solid match with Konosuke Takeshita recently, where he ended up putting over the Japanese star. We will have to wait and see what AEW will have planned for Jericho once he makes his triumphant return.
