Britt Baker’s AEW In-Ring Return on the Horizon

Britt Baker has worked very hard to improve herself and become one of the best female wrestlers in AEW, but she was barely around throughout 2023 due to injury. While she remains absent from AEW television, it has been revealed that Baker will likely get cleared for an in-ring return soon.

Baker has not wrestled since the September 16 episode of AEW Collision where she lost to Kris Statlander in a match for the TBS Championship, as she has been dealing with a nagging injury since then.

The dentist linked up with Bayley at the Super Bowl last weekend and looked to be in great spirits. According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was noted that Baker is training very hard for her return to AEW.

Dave Meltzer mentioned that while Britt Baker was not cleared for her in-ring return as of last week, it won’t be long before she is medically cleared.

”Britt Baker looked in great shape at the Super Bowl game and it was said that she’s been training very hard for her return. Britt wasn’t believed to have been cleared yet but the indications were that it shouldn’t be that long.”

Britt Baker also revealed why she chose to stay away from the limelight last year in AEW. We will have to wait and see when Baker will return to AEW television, as fans have certainly started missing her.
