AEW fulfilled its commitment to a surprise signing at Full Gear 2023, revealing none other than Will Ospreay. He is also done with NJPW after New Begining in Osaka last week. It was then announced he’d have a big match at AEW Revolution next month. Ospreay would then break his silence on this matter.

Will Ospreay’s AEW contract also provides him with unique flexibility. Ospreay noted that joining AEW suits his current situation, and his deal with AEW allows for the potential of a return to NJPW in the future.

As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Don Callis announced that Konosuke Takeshita will be squaring off against Will Ospreay at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view. This marks Ospreay’s first AEW bout after becoming a full-time AEW star.

The Aerial Assassin took to Twitter and commented on his upcoming highly anticipated bout with Konosuke Takeshita. Ospreay made it clear he will compete at an elite level at the event.

Will Ospreay will also have to navigate a ton of travel hurdles now that he is a full-time AEW star. We will have to wait and see how he will fare against Konosuke Takeshita at AEW Revolution.
