It has been confirmed that Jeff Hardy sustained a broken nose during last night’s AEW Rampage tapings in Texas.
During his No-DQ matchup against Sammy Guevara, Hardy was legitimately knocked out when Guevara’s knee collided with his face after a shooting star press maneuver. Initial reports indicated fears of a broken nose and the need for concussion tests.
On today’s Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez confirmed that Hardy did indeed suffer a broken nose. However, it’s fortunate that the former world champion did not sustain a concussion in the incident.
Despite the injury, Hardy’s matchup is still set to air on tomorrow’s AEW Rampage. It’s worth noting that the broadcast will commence at an earlier time of 7pm EST/4pm PST, deviating from its usual time slot of 10pm EST/7pm PST.
