The team of Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa, popularly known as DIY is looking to make a resurgence on RAW, just like their old NXT glory days as a team. However, R-Truth mistaken them for a legendary team, that now has snubbed their own merchandise.
This week on RAW, Gargano, and Ciampa saved Truth from a hellacious beatdown administered by The Judgment Day following his loss to JD McDonagh.
R-Truth thanked the duo for their help and his comedic antics led to him referring to DIY as DX. Of course, Truth was referring to the WWE Hall of Fame faction, D-Generation X, and called them Triple H and Shawn Michaels.
The Game and The Heartbreak Kid started the notorious faction in the mid-1990s emerging as one of the biggest stables in WWE history. From winning titles to creating jaw-dropping moments, DX did it all back in the day.
Looking at their rich lineage and history, DIY member Johnny Gargano recently took to his X to react when his team’s merchandise was stamped with a touch of D-Generation X.
“Now, wait a minute. I don’t think we can do this.. @WWEShop.”
DIY, The Miz, and R-Truth are set to collide with all four male members of The Judgment Day on the upcoming edition of Monday Night RAW.
Which team do you think will emerge victorious? R-Truth & his clan or Judgment Day? Sound off in the comments!
