TNA Wrestling has undergone quite a few changes over the past couple of months, as they are gearing up for a new era. Rumors had suggested TNA Wrestling was going to get production upgrades and now we have clarification on that matter.
Earlier last week, Anthem Sports announced that Scott D’Amore had been fired from the position of TNA President and he was subsequently replaced by Anthony Cicione, as a change of the guard took place.
Rumors recently suggested TNA had a bigger budget and would get more production upgrades as a result. However, according to Sean Ross Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, it was reported that the aforementioned upgrades are largely related to software.
”There has been a lot made about the increase in budget and production upgrades coming to TNA Wrestling, but sources within Anthem claim that many were actually related to software upgrades more than anything else. The schedule for TNA appears to be the same in 2024, although they are apparently looking to reduce some of the costs compared to last year.”
Scott D’Amore’s TNA Wrestling firing was in the works long before the announcement. We will have to wait and see how TNA Wrestling will continue to develop under their new leadership.
