New Japan Pro Wrestling has gone through quite a few changes over the past year and not all of their changes are necessarily well-received. NJPW recently concluded their New Beginning in Osaka and now they have announced the NJPW Resurgence show this year.

The New Beginning in Osaka event had a ton of excellent matches for fans, which included both Kazuhika Okada and Will Ospreay competing in their final matches for the promotion.

During the event, an announcement was made regarding NJPW Resurgence. The promotion revealed that the 2024 edition of the event is scheduled to take place at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California, on May 11th.

The 2023 NJPW Resurgence included a mini-tournament to determine the inaugural NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion. Mercedes Mone and Willow Nightingale reached the finals, with Willow emerging as the champion. The event also showcased an encounter between Will Ospreay and Hiroshi Tanahashi. We will have to wait and see how this year’s Resurgence event will turn out.
