Cody Rhodes strongly resonates with fans, truly embodying the people’s champion in WWE. Rhodes is determined to finish his story and now Eric Bischoff is pushing for Tony Khan to involve Dustin Rhodes in Cody’s WWE storyline.

Cody Rhodes created a buzz by winning the Royal Rumble for the second year in a row. Controversy arose when he appeared to relinquish his WrestleMania spot to The Rock, but he ultimately opted to challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, setting the stage for a rematch from the prior year.

Back in 2019, Dustin Rhodes departed WWE for AEW. Currently, his brother Cody Rhodes is engaged in his major storyline with Roman Reigns, centered on the wrestling legacy of the Rhodes family.

While speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bischoff suggested that Tony Khan should consider involving Dustin Rhodes in Cody Rhodes’ storyline in WWE.

“Letting Dustin be a part of this isn’t about anything other than being gracious to Dustin. This is an important part of Dustin’s life too. He may be living it vicariously through Cody from a distance, but if there’s an opportunity to let Dustin Rhodes share in this moment in any way shape or form with Cody, Tony should accommodate.”

However, it is to be noted that the WrestleMania 40 main event could very well change again, as nothing is truly set is stone just yet. It remains to be seen whether Dustin Rhodes will temporarily return to WWE eventually.
