WrestleMania 40 is set to take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 6th and 7th. Considering this is WWE’s biggest Premium Live Event of the year, there will be a lot planned for the show.
The main event is already set in stone as Cody Rhodes will face Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley, and IYO SKY will also be defending their titles at the event.
WrestleMania is known to be an unpredictable event as anything can happen like at WrestleMania 37 when the show was delayed due to rain. Considering this year’s event is also taking place in an open-roof stadium, Seth wants there to be a weather impact on the show.
During an interview on The Rich Eisen Show, Seth Rollins mentioned that he would love for it to rain during WrestleMania 40 this year.
“Outdoors. Going to be cold. I’m hoping for snow. I’m hoping for the first WrestleMania with some snow. You know what I mean? Winter gets pushed back a little bit more every single year, so maybe we’ll get some snow. I just want the atmosphere. I want the whole Philly feel. I want it. I’m used to the cold. I get it. I understand playing out in the winter, man. I used to wrestle with my buddies out in the front lawn in the snow. We dug it.”
On the 2/9 episode of SmackDown, Nick Aldis announced a men’s Elimination Chamber match where the winner would face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40. Currently, the Visionary is out of action due to an injury.
