Drew McIntyre Hints at Aligning with Authority Using Triple H’s Iconic Line

Drew McIntyre’s recent run as a menacing heel has been widely appreciated by the WWE Universe. However, he might have another trick up his sleeve, judging from a major hint he dropped.

The Scottish Warrior recently took to his Instagram to post a picture with the WWE Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque. Interestingly, he quoted the caption with an iconic line The Game used in a memorable WWE segment.

“There’s always a Plan B.”

Triple H delivered the line during his historic feud with The Shield in 2014. It was during the same segment where Seth Rollins turned on his faction members, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, and aligned with Papa H and his authority.

It seems McIntyre is looking to do the same to get the same top opportunities that a young Rollins did back in the day with this game plan, considering the recent rise in popularity he has seen.

Lately, Drew McIntyre has been considering himself as a messiah for his actions such as taking out CM Punk from WrestleMania or persuading Cody Rhodes to finish the story against The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns at the Show of Shows.

So it will be interesting to see what happens next as McIntyre’s antics continue every week on WWE television programming.
