Thankfully, that all changed at the WrestleMania 40 kickoff press event, where a lot of drama ensued. Now, the Rock sent an ominous message following the conclusion of the event.

At the WrestleMania 40 kickoff press event, tensions were high after Cody Rhodes chose Roman Reigns as his WrestleMania 40 opponent and insulted The Bloodline, prompting The Rock to slap Cody Rhodes across the face and leading to a heated scuffle.

The Rock was absolutely livid backstage and told Triple H to fix the situation. Afterwards, a video revealed The Rock and Roman Reigns leaving the event together, accompanied by Paul Heyman.

The Rock and Roman Reigns were upset over what Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins said to them. The Great One then sent an ominous message while leaving the venue, stating that he understood what Roman Reigns had been talking about.

Considering everything that happened at the WrestleMania 40 kickoff press event, perhaps fans might see The Rock and Roman Reigns team up to square off against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on Night One of WrestleMania 40. We’ll have to see how their storyline will be booked in the coming weeks.
