Vince McMahon has found himself in a highly controversial situation due to sexual trafficking lawsuit filed against him by former WWE employee Janel Grant. This legal battle opened up a can of worms and other names were mentioned in it as well. Now, Seth Rollins made it clear he hopes everyone involved in the scandal faces consequences.
As of this writing, Vince McMahon faces allegations of sexual trafficking and misconduct from Janel Grant. In her lawsuit, she claims McMahon distributed explicit content of her without consent, implicating other WWE personnel, undisclosed executives, and wrestling stars.
In the aftermath of the sexual trafficking lawsuit, Vince McMahon has formally stepped down from both WWE and TKO Holdings. McMahon has pledged to contest the allegations, vehemently asserting that they are completely baseless.
While speaking to Fightful at the WrestleMania 40 kickoff Green Carpet event, Seth Rollins was asked about the allegations. Rollins made it clear he hopes everyone involved in the scandal would face consequences.
“It’s a crap situation. I said it in that interview on radio row. It sucks. It’s horrible. It’s disgusting. I don’t like hearing about it, reading about it, it’s abhorent. I hope, if the allegations are accurate, I hope anybody involved with it gets what’s coming to them. It sucks. For me, it’s very difficult because I didn’t see that side of him. I didn’t experience that. When you see stuff like that, it’s jarring and it’s painful. It sucks all around. There is just no other way to say it. It sucks. It really sucks.”
Vince McMahon faces an uncertain future with WWE following the trafficking lawsuit. WWE is actively working to exclude McMahon from the WWE 2K24 video game, signaling a deliberate move to distance itself from his image. The outcome for McMahon remains to be seen as the situation unfolds.
