The upcoming rematch between TNA World Champion Moose and former champion Alex Shelley at this month’s No Surrender event will now feature a unique stipulation known as No Surrender rules, a novel concept for TNA wrestling.

Under these rules, each competitor will be allowed two cornermen, and the match can only conclude when one of them throws in the towel for their respective side.

Moose will be accompanied by Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers in his corner, while Shelley will have KUSHIDA and Kevin Knight by his side.

The build-up to this match intensified on a recent episode of TNA Impact, where Shelley secured a victory over Edwards, followed by Edwards and Myers assaulting Shelley until Knight and KUSHIDA intervened. As a precursor to the main event, KUSHIDA is set to face Moose in non-title action on the upcoming episode of Impact.

Moose previously defeated Shelley at Hard to Kill to capture the TNA World Championship and establish The System faction, consisting of Edwards and Myers.

The No Surrender event, scheduled for Friday, February 23rd, will also feature other exciting matchups, including TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace defending against Gisele Shaw, and X-Division Champion Chris Sabin putting his title on the line against Mustafa Ali.

As a reminder, Ringside News will have live play-by-play coverage of the event so keep checking back for any news, rumors or spoilers surrounding the show.
