The 7th February episode of AEW Dynamite was filled with exciting moments. The show kicked off with the epic encounter of Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland which ended in a time-limit draw.
The show also concluded with Sting and Darby Allin being crowned new AEW World Tag Team Champions before they were brutally assaulted by the Young Bucks. Another big moment from the show was Tony Khan announcing AEW Big Business which will take place on March 13 from the TD Garden in Boston.
Despite a massive show, Wrestlenomics is reporting that AEW Dynamite drew in 805,000 viewers which is slightly less than the previous week’s viewership of 817,000. However, the show saw an increase in ratings for the key 18-49 demographic. AEW Dynamite drew an average rating of 0.28 which is slightly up from last week’s rating of 0.26.
Moreover, AEW Dynamite finished 3rd in the cable TV rankings which was consistent with the previous week.
It’s a bit surprising that AEW’s viewership dropped despite a good show. However, the massive cliffhanger at the end of the show could help elevate viewership next week. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we bring you live coverage of AEW Dynamite.
