Just a week ago, The Rock made his surprise return to SmackDown and came face-to-face with Roman Reigns hinting that he was going to take Cody Rhodes’ spot at WrestleMania 40.
While the audience in attendance for SmackDown was pleased to see The Great One confront his cousin, things turned sour once they realized that Cody was not going to finish his story against Reigns as they had hoped.
This caused a lot of backlash and has prevented WWE from officially confirming the two World Title matches for WrestleMania 40. The company is set to kick off WrestleMania 40 with a press event in Las Vegas where fans are hoping a lot of these questions surrounding the main event will be answered.
Roman Reigns had already arrived in Vegas for the event and now, The Rock has arrived in Las Vegas for the kickoff event.
“The People’s Champion has arrived in Las Vegas! @TheRock is ready for an iconic face-off with@WWERomanReigns tomorrow at the #WrestleMania XL Kickoff live from@TMobileArena.”
Hopefully, this whole controversy surrounding the WrestleMania 40 main event will finally be put to rest tomorrow at the press event. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we bring you the latest news stories from the WrestleMania 40 press event.
