The 2024 TNA Hard To Kill PPV was a monumental night for the company as it rebranded itself back to its old name – TNA.
The company was undergoing a massive shift and there was one man leading the charge – Scott D’Amore. Scott was an instrumental part of the company for several years and witnessed the highest of highs and the lowest of lows.
Scott’s impact on TNA cannot be understated. Under his leadership, TNA was just starting to flourish again and the recent Hard to Kil PPV is a clear indication of this. However, despite his passion and best efforts, Scott D’Amore was fired from his role as TNA Wrestling President – a move that shocked and saddened fans.
Since the news broke, many people have weighed in on the topic, and the latest to do so if former TNA announcer David Penzer who took to social media to remind everyone that it was Scott D’Amore who rebuilt the company from the ground up.
“I’m just going to say it. Without@ScottDAmore Impact/TNA would be a video library probably owned by WWE. I saw him strip that thing down to the studs and rebuild it on a less than skeleton budget to where it stands today which is ready to take off. Hope it survives-Massive loss!”
With Scott D’Amore now terminated, it will be interesting to see how this change in management will affect the product going forward.
