Jim Ross, the legendary wrestling commentator, has provided some positive news regarding his return to AEW commentary. Ross has been an integral part of AEW since its inception, but he took hiatus from his commentary duties due to health issues. As Ross approaches the end of his career, he can now take it easy. However, there are concerns about his health. On February 1st, Ross took to social media to announce that he had recently undergone surgery for cancer on his right hip.
Jim Ross then hoped that his surgery was a successful one as well. On February 6, Conrad Thompson, co-host of Grilling JR with Ross, provided an update on Ross’ health. Thompson mentioned that he had just FaceTimed with the wrestling legend and shared that Ross was in high spirits, anticipating an imminent return home.
Thompson expressed gratitude for the excellent care provided by the nurses and mentioned that Ross’s daughter is present to offer support. Additionally, Thompson conveyed Ross’s request for him to update everyone on the latest developments.
