The Best in the World CM Punk came back to WWE after ten years with the aim to main event WrestleMania. However, an unfortunate injury shattered his dreams for this year and put him on the shelf for nearly 4-6 months.

Punk suffered the injury during his first WWE televised match, the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match. He would acknowledge that on the following edition of Monday Night RAW and confirmed that he would indeed miss The Show of Shows in Philidelphia this year.

However, before he left the show, he had an intense confrontation with Drew McIntyre who mocked him and vowed to live his dream at WrestleMania 40. The segment ended with McIntyre injuring Punk further and leaving him battered in the ring.

Since then, the Scottish Warrior has left no opportunity to take a shot at the former WWE champion, be it on social media or as seen on this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW.

CM Punk, on the other hand, underwent successful surgery for his torn triceps and shared his Day One look on his Instagram stories with his hand in a supporter and posing with a person from the rehabilitation facility.

“Day One.”

With the Voice of the Voiceless out of action and beginning his road to recovery, it would be a matter of time before CM Punk steps back inside the ring and once again starts his climb to the top of the WWE mountain.
